                               The process of turning diagnoses, treatments, services, and equipment into common medical alphanumeric codes in order to establish a patient's medical records is known as medical coding. Medical Coders utilize a set of codes to code medical records. These codes are then billed to insurance companies in order to obtain reimbursement for payment procedures.

The purpose of Medical Coding includes :
