A Medical Coder converts patient records into an insurance-compliant coding system. With this information, they can handle reimbursement claims from providers in compliance with agreements. Medical Coders are responsible for converting the patients' healthcare detail into alpha numeric codes.

Common symptoms includes muscle weakness, cramp, stiffness and tetany. Most treatment include physical therapy, occupational therapy and some form of exercise. Other treatments are specific and based on the type of myopathy.
